Fimobilia cooperates with more than 35 leading Austrian banks and more than 50 Real Estate Brokers to provide a unique B2B2C mortgage experience. We created a one of kind platform. It allows consumers who need financing or want to refinance an existing loan to do so online via the easy to use platform and bypass all the in-person visits and documentation.

The platform we created needed to be tightly connected with banks that will offer the loans and brokers that will introduce the borrowers.
Support team
The platform needed to have strong technological support for the back office team to collaborate with banks as well as borrowers.
User friendly experience
The platform needed to be user friendly, easy and intuitive despite a rather fragmented process and different demands from various banks.
SOLUTION
Fimobilia
Fimobilia is a platform designed to guide potential and existing borrowers through a streamlined, step-by-step mortgage application process. It gathers the necessary information for banks and presents borrowers with competitive offers. In addition
to borrowers, Fimobilia also supports two other key user roles: the Fimobilia back office team and brokers, ensuring a comprehensive and efficient experience for all parties involved.
DESIGN
From start to finish
We’ve realized this project with the Fimobilia team from start to finish. We started with in-person workshops, moved to sketching out the idea and designing high fidelity mockups, and brought the project to a finish with the implementation.
DESIGN
Designing the app
Wireframes
We started the design process with wireframes. We sketched out the idea for the screens, which information and functionalities we need where. We ignored the design facet in this phase.
Moodboards
We created a few moodboards to see what kind of emotions we want our platform to evoke. We used keywords and based elements of the platform on them, ie. colors and fonts.
A/B test
We built the first three screens in different moods and designs. We then tested both with impartial testers to see which design and which approach they would prefer. We based the final design on this.
High fidelity mockups
Lastly, we built high fidelity mockups that were as close as possible to the final solution. Implementation was based on this.

This is the borrower dashboard. Users can choose to open their existing application, open a new mortgage application or initiate a refinancing process. Should users exit and re-enter the application, they will be directly taken back to their last active step.
Back office
In the back office dashboard, Fimobilia experts see a comprehensive overview across all applications in progress. The individual cases can be assigned to a specific team member. With the ability to review & edit all data and documents submitted, Fimobilia is able to support consumers at all stages of the process.
Process
The process has an overview of all necessary steps for users following Fimobilia’s process. With the development of a highly intricate matrix for evaluation, Fimobilia is able to provide indicative feedback in real time for all borrowers.
